Could love just be an idea manifested in another individual?

Could it be that the reason we don’t get over people we like even when we know they aren’t right for us, be that they are actually just one of our ideas manifested into a human body. Usually we can just push an idea away in our own head and never have to think about it again since we created it, but in this case were talking about a real human being. They become an idea that stays in front of your face until the day they die, which is why it’s so much harder to get rid of them. We don’t just have to get rid of the idea, but instead learn to cope with the existence of that idea.
And the reason a rebound is what it is, could be because we are just using another medium to test out that original idea. It never works out because what a rebound really is, is a coping mechanism on our part to try and prove that the problem was the idea that we had created and not the original person that we had assigned that idea to.
